Asked Questions
Why
do termites eat your bait, when they have a whole house available
to them?
Our bait tastes good! Seriously...termites engage in continuous
random foraging for sources of new food, even when they have a sufficient
and ready source of food available, like your home. With each new
source of food found, termites carry food back to the nest, and
set up trails to enable return visits. This continuous random foraging
activity supports the effectiveness of bait placements set at regular
intervals around the structure - termites aren't so much attracted
by any food source as they simply "bump into" it. Your
Rose professional is trained and skilled at making placements in
areas where the termites are most likely to find the Sentricon bait,
with the welcome positive result of getting the bait back to the
colony, where it can eliminate the infestation at its source.
