About
|
The
soil treatment approach, provided by Cochnower
Pest Control, involves placing a chemical
barrier in the soil adjoining the structure, to kill or repel any
termites trying to enter your home or business structure. |

Procedure |
An
injection, of a specialized chemical, is put into the soil
inside and outside the structure's foundation. This process often
requires the digging of a trench around the structure, drilling
and removal or replacement of carpet, tile, wood or other floor
coverings which lie upon the concrete slab). In addition, block
foundation walls are usually drilled and treated. The work associated
with this approach will generally be accomplished in one to two
days. |

Results
|
Termite activity
should cease rather rapidly, and treatment should be effective for
five years or more. Service agreements are generally available for
that period. Additional treatment after that could involve full
retreatment at additional expense. |
